Morgan Falls, Marquette

Really cool walk, especially if staying at the Rippling River Resort. Yes, the road is closed to vehicles, but if you're interested in waterfalls with parking I've got bad news. It's a very easy, flat walk by road, with about 37 stairs (down) to get to the falls. OR, if you're up for some scenery we walked the Morgan Creek Loop which is a multipurpose trail that winds around through the forest and along the Carp river. I suggest considering the amount of mountain bike traffic at the time of day of your visit so as to be courteous to those users of the trail, but unlike other trails in the area it is marked as dual-use. It's not as far back as the map shows, about 1.3 miles by road, and maybe double that by trail with all the switchbacks. The actual location is closer to 46.505345, -87.437805.

Easy walk using the road closed to wheeled motor vehicles. 1.4 miles from 553. Once you get to the opening it's a short walk in to see the falls.
