    Short hike up to the peak with well maintained viewing platforms. This would be gorgeous in all seasons. Parts of the hike were more vertical with several stairs.

    Quite a hike for those out of shape, but worth it for the view. Did the hike to look at fall colors and the views were breathtaking.

    The hike can be a bit much for animals on a hot summer day otherwise plan for about 25 minutes to the top from the parking lot, lots of trail and stairs to navigate. The view is completely worth it when you're at the 1200 ft peak overlooking Lake Superior and then nearby beaches and Islands, spectacular must see!
