  • For most people the entire Horicon is one big marsh, without much difference. This particular part, in the northern half of the marsh, is bisected by Highway 49 from Waupun going East, which has some....  more »
  • We visited the refuge on a day when the visitor center was closed. You can still access the main refuge and all side roads. This is basically in the middle of nowhere, but it is a relaxing...  more »
  • Great nature treasure to visit. Make sure you stop into the information center on the east side of the marsh. Lots of history and info.
  • Worth visiting. Good trails but the main visiting areas are currently closed until Labor day 2019 because of major road construction. Visit website for updates.
