  • We stopped here on our way to the Salton Sea and it was a good 30 minutes of fun! My kids all really enjoyed the banana soda and ice cream and I enjoyed the cool photo ops :) Def worth a quick stop...  more »

  • A definite must stop and see!! Super interesting, fun and really wonderful couple running it. Great ice cream, which is a must get. My son doesn't care for fruit, mostly bananas but loved the banana mango ice cream. The chocolate dipped banana was amazing!! Came with my parents and my two kids and we all enjoyed it!
  • The International Banana Museum has to be seen to be believed. It is a wonderful burst of color at the end of the ruins of Bombay Beach in the Salton Sea. Run by a friendly and wonderful energetic couple, the IBM has a banana milkshake that is out of this world and any banana related item you could think of (and some you couldn't). It's only $1 to enter, and they have stickers, concessions, and all manner of trinkets. What a wonderful place.
