  • It's a really beautiful place to spend time in. You feel more close to the nature and it's habitat. The water stream runs parallel to your trail path has scenic views with a background mild gushing...  more »
  • Huge park with beautiful paths and trails. Amazing forest with a lot of shade for sunny days. It is even worth it to just drive through the park on a sunny day. Will absolutely return.  more »

  • A jewel of Delaware County, this beautiful free access state park has several maintained walking/biking trails ranging from handicap accessible (paved and mostly flat) to moderate difficulties. Following and entwinned around the Ridley Creek and its surrounding tributary springs you will find several fishing spots (catch and release), benches, and historic ruins. Home to a beautiful English Tudor stone mansion which is now preserved and utilized as a rustic wedding/event venue.
  • I LOVE hiking with my dogs in this park. You can visit multiple times a week and see different sections every day. There is a paved trail that circles the park and is fairly easy to navigate. There are also several blazed trails that vary in difficulty and length. I particularly like the trail that runs near the horses and takes you to the creek (my dog likes to splash in the water on his retractable leash). It is a very dog-friendly location; make sure that you treat your canine friend for tics and check yourself after hiking, too. That's probably the only negative that I have to say about this awesome park.
