Celebration Park is an archaeological park in the western United States, located in southwestern Idaho. It is the state's first archeological park and is adjacent to the Snake River near Melba and Walter's Ferry in Canyon County.
It features camping, restrooms, drinking water, picnicking, self-guided tours and interpretive programs as well as fishing and access to hiking trails and the Snake River with a small day use fee. The elevation of the river at the park is approximately 2,250 feet (690 m) above sea level.

  • If you want to get away go check out celebration park. It's usually not too crowded and the river is fun. But there is no cell service so be prepared.  more »
  • Nice walk along Snake River, turn inland to Halverson Lakes. Melon rocks litter a fairly barren landscape. These small lakes are depressions ringed on one side by lava tube cliffs. Sand dunes...  more »
  • This was so fun the people were nice. It was very hot but once we went in the water and swam all together it was fun. I plan to go there alot and i highly recommend that people go here because that was one memory i will never forget
  • Nice getaway and very secluded. There is a lot of history in this place. Wonderful for just a day visit or overnight camping. Fishing is allowed and so is swimming, just be very careful as there can be undercurrents.
