  • If you want to get away go check out celebration park. It's usually not too crowded and the river is fun. But there is no cell service so be prepared.

  • Nice walk along Snake River, turn inland to Halverson Lakes. Melon rocks litter a fairly barren landscape. These small lakes are depressions ringed on one side by lava tube cliffs. Sand dunes...

  • It is a nice camping park. Many trails to walk including several of you go across the old railroad bridge. Beautiful views of the Snake River and great sightings of petroglyphs. It is a great location to bird watch and wildlife watch. $2 all day parking fee. The visitor center has wonderful maps and other information. The bathrooms are nice and clean!
  • This is an awesome place to go for a day or short trip. From hiking to fishing to general sightseeing I would highly encourage you to check it out. It's an awesome spot whether you're alone or taking the entire family and friends. My wife absolutely adores this place and we have been here no less than 10 times.
