Rooterville Animal Sanctuary, Melrose

This is one of my favorite places in the world. Since finding Rooterville, I've been back several times and it truly never gets old. The animals are well cared for and the staff are always happy to answer questions and share stories about them. The farm itself is a beautiful, peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of city life, with the opportunity to freely interact with several different types of animals. We have not stayed overnight in the RV or Wagons but we toured them the last time we were there and they are beautiful accommodations! If you're within driving distance, stop by and visit or consider spending a night here instead of a bland hotel in the city.

Visited a local gem today - Rooterville Animal Sanctuary - it was such a wonderful place! We enjoyed visiting and letting and feeding rescued pigs, cows and horses. We took a tour on the tractor train, saw baby goats, chickens, butterfly garden. It was such a wonderful visit and can’t wait to go back!
