AutoZone Park, Memphis

4.7
AutoZone Park, home to baseball's Memphis Redbirds--an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals--with a capacity to host 14,384 viewers, was named Minor League Ballpark of the Year 2009 by Baseball America. Considered a neo-traditional park, it features air-conditioned club seating, Major League lighting, family-oriented amusement areas, a picnic pavilion, and a 335 sq m (3,600 sq ft) HD videoboard--the largest in Minor League Baseball. See this triple-A baseball team from the Pacific Coast League at some of their 144 annual games, and be sure to try out the ballpark's unusual dining options--grilled veggie dogs, roast beef wraps, barbecue baked potatoes, and frozen margaritas, among others. • My experience here was good for the most part. It was not overcrowded and I got free nachos and a hat. It was my first time being in the park for a game. Usually, I'd be volunteering. It was a good experience. I'd just say be aware of the long steps. I almost fell! Otherwise, it was good. And don't forget your glasses if you wear glasses :)
  • All seats offer a pretty solid view of the field. We went to a Saturday game with fireworks. Best show ever! It was 10 minutes of awe and intensity non stop. Really took our breath away. Food is really good as well - I definitely recommend.
