  • Great driving tour- the audio guided tour is available to download for $10 online so the visitor’s cottage does not need to be open to buy the tour. So much interesting information- stories about the people buried here and how they played a part in Memphis's history. It’s about an hour and 20 minute audio, but you’ll want to stop a few times to get out and see markers up close. We spent a little under two hours here. If you like history and quirky information about the city then you’ll like this tour.
  • I paid for the audio tour but actually turned it off very quickly because it was more pointing out the famous graves and for us this is not what we really care about that much. If you do like your local history then the audio tour would be excellent. We ended up just using the map to guide us around, but taking the opportunity to get out and read some of the graves, feel the emotion and also experience the nature as this place is great for bird watching (it is recognised as such)Make sure you have plenty of time here - the gates shut at 5 so give yourself a good 2hrs or more as it really is massive and very very interesting. We are really glad we visited on our trip to the Deep South
