Did a 12:30 45 minute house tour, saw rooms in the house (but no flash photography is allowed). The tour guide was very knowledgeable. You can also walk around the grounds and see the visitor center.

We arrived at the site early but this enabled us to take a cell phone tour of the grounds. Only 8 of the original 118 acres remain as part of the historic site. Among the structures on the land are.... more

We were visiting friends in the area for a few days and decided to fit in a stop here. Took the free tour. The house/furnishings are amazing... and the grounds are beautiful. Especially loved the weeping beech tree! Our kids (10 & 9) did the junior ranger activity which gave them a scavenger hunt type challenge which helped keep them engaged. Highly recommend 😀

I really enjoyed getting to know about James A Garfield and his property! It’s a very beautiful historic site with lots to see as you walk around! Make sure you bring your passport book to get all the stamps it can offer!
