Obloy Family Ranch, Merritt Island

#4 of 6 in Parks in Merritt Island
We are Adventures In Paradise! We welcome you to come see our 30 acres Wildlife refuge, exotic petting farm and fish camp. Our petting farm is full of amazing animals such as ring tailed lemurs, a camel and zebra, miniature horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, and so much more! You'll get to tour Alligator Alley, an homage to the property's alligator farm roots, and after that rent a fishing pole and go fishing in one of our many stocked ponds! Brim, bass, and tilapia are the best catch, we have some up to 9 pounds!

Additionally, you and your family can enjoy our hiking trails, horseback rides, guided trail rides, tours on the Adventure Express, and, if you dare, a ride through the woods, mud, and dirt on our Mud Monster Swamp Buggy!

We hope you come down to see our growing family farm!

  • I suggest if you have kids from ages 1 to 18 that you visit this wonderful hideaway on north Merritt Island. Get the kids away from the TV and their phones and visit this rustic Family Ranch and Flori...  more »
  • This place is awesome! We were able to interact with so many different animals including a buffalo and a zebra. You can feed almost all the animals. So much fun and very affordable.  more »

  • Amazing place!!! I did the 45-minute trail ride, and it was such a beautiful area. The guide was absolutely amazing. She pointed out all the sites and was extremely informative. They also have gemstone mining which I will be back for, a great playground for the kids which is made of recycled material which is awesome in my book. They have a few animals there that you can pet, although they're not really a zoo. We saw a couple of camels, a zebra, but I was more focused on enjoying the horse ride. They also have what they call a saloon there, and although I didn't visit this time I will be checking out the next time I come and a great little Country Store! So I will definitely be back! The owner and the people in the front office are extremely friendly, answered my questions, great sense of humor. Again I will definitely definitely definitely be back! It was awesome!
  • Had the most awesome time on my visit to the Obloy Ranch. We took the tour and our guide was so knowledgeable about all the animals and cute as can be. She seemed to really like what she is doing and has formed a relationship with the animals. The rain had everything pretty muddy but that just added to the rustic vibe of the place. So hydrate and wear comfy shoes. Take the tour and enjoy your entourage of chicken, duck and other critters that follow you around. Don’t forget the food. They will be your friends forever!
