Rocket Launch Viewing Area, Merritt Island

Here 2 hours before a launch at 4pm on a Saturday. I expected it to be much more packed. There were a lot more people with a half hour of launch but it didnt take from the experience. Occasional boats with music that is way too loud, and lots of people fishing

Saw my first SpaceX Falcon 9 launch and booster landing here Arrived at 3pm for a 6pm launch and had my choice of parking spots on the North side, which is the place to be. If you are coming here for a Launch, you can use strong binoculars to see which Launchpad you want to look at. If you are coming to see a landing, there aren't any clear towers, so use the photo I included in my review. The Landing Zone is marked with a red arrow (it's to the right, you might have to click on the picture to see it in its entirety). Situate yourself so you can see the Launch Tower you want to observe *and* the area marked by the red arrow and you should be good.
