  • The garden is amazing. It is easier to drive to and soooo much fun to walk through. We were there yesterday -April 7th- all the roses were blooming and the fragrance was amazing. It is hard to pick a ...  more »

  • This is the most extensive public rose garden in the southwest, boasting over 9,000 rose bushes. There's a phone number you can call as you tour the garden. A recording tells you interesting facts about some of the specimens. Though I couldn't actually find half of them, it was fun trying. I later discovered that there's an app to enhance your rose garden visit, but I've not downloaded it. Best of all, the rose garden is FREE to visit 24/7!
  • It's so pretty and relaxing. It's fun to walk through but I would recommend watching out for local students on bikes in a hurry to get to class. One thing I'll say is that it's sad how much trash there is. I know there's people who clean it regularly, but you still see so much littered around
