Little Havana, Miami

#3 of 8 in Neighborhoods in Miami
Neighborhood · Hidden Gem · Other
Visit Cuba without leaving U.S. soil at Little Havana, with its lively restaurants, music, and Cuban street culture. Stroll down Calle Ocho, the neighborhood's main street, and take in the atmosphere--watch an older generation play dominoes, eat fruit from one of the many fruit stands, drink a fragrant Cuban coffee, or indulge in a locally rolled cigar from El Credito cigar factory. Dance to traditional Cuban and Afro-Cuban street music, drop by one of the many galleries, or visit one of the four Catholic churches in the area. Be sure to try a pastelito, a traditional sweet and flaky Cuban pastry filled with cheese or cheese and guava.
