Wynwood Walls was established in 2009 by the legendary placemaker and visionary Tony Goldman as an outdoor museum of international street art. Since the first year's program – featuring Kenny Scharf, Futura, Os Gemeos, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, and other renowned innovators in street art, Wynwood Walls has become a phenomenon, spurring the creation of murals throughout the Wynwood district. It is now one of the best venues in the world to see the work of leading street artists.

In 2010, the adjacent Wynwood Doors, with 176 feet of roll-up storefront gates was added. Each subsequent year, a selection of international artists – that range from old school graffiti artists to young artists responsible for the newest work being created today – have created artwork for the Wynwood Walls. In 2012, Wynwood Walls celebrated Art Basel with a series of events dedicated to the vision of Tony Goldman who passed that September. Since that time, the project has been curated by Tony's daughter, Goldman Properties CEO Jessica Goldman Srebnick.

The world-class murals and the spirit of the project attracts thousands of people to Wynwood Walls each year and it has become a popular site for musical concerts, poetry readings, film and video screenings and special events. Miami’s now world renowned open air “museum of the streets” continues to attract visitors from around the world and currently encompasses more than 40 dazzling, cutting-edge murals created by respected street artists from Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Wynwood Walls is located on NW Second Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets and is free and open to the public. For hours and more information please visit www.thewynwoodwalls.com.

  • Such a cool concept. Plan to spend a good amount of time. Be careful about what time of day you come. When the sun is high it's hard to see some places. There are a few indoor air conditioned galleries for relief from the heat. The murals change also so you can visit multiple times throughout the year. There is not a lot of parking so you'll have to park and walk some but there is art all along the way. It makes for a great time and everything is free to look but there are pieces available for purchase.
  • Wynwood Walls!!! Do you appreciate great ART if so make sure you check out MIAMI. This place not only has great art all around town but also delicious restaurants and great music. Plan a day to visit with your family or just friends. If your in MIAMI make sure you stop by and check it out you won’t be disappointed... ( Michelle )
  • So many things to see and do and listen to. Fridays Saturdays and Sundays are especially packed full of people and big crowds at night for the difference bars and dancing seems. Even during the day is very family-friendly and so much visual to take in. The whole Wynwood area is an experience for tourist and locals alike. I highly recommend the Wynwood Market during the day and at night time. Just try to get there before 9 to avoid having to pay an entrance. And the food trucks in the back or delicious many to choose from.
  • An awesome spot to go check out some unique artwork! It is kind of a small area but you are blessed with a gallery at the end of the walk. Some very famous artists are given permission to decorate the walls but apparently the walls can be painted over every 6 months to a year. So I wouldn’t wait to go. There are two small snack trucks in the facility that sell ice cream and water; important because of the hot weather. 5/5 and will return again when back in the area.
  • The heart of the coolest neighborhood of Miami. It is definitely worth your time. The "Walls" are repeadly changing throughout the year. Famous artists come here to show their soul and skills. It's a free venue, most likely paid by monthly fees of the 3 places inside (2 museums and 2 restaurant). If you are in town go there you will not regret your great dose of arts!
