Zoo Miami, Miami
Florida’s oldest zoological garden, Zoo Miami is home to over 2,000 animals across more than 100 exhibits. An air-conditioned monorail takes a loop around the zoo and is a comfortable and convenient way to get around the site, providing an aerial view of some exhibits. There are four main areas of the zoo: Asia, Africa, Amazon and beyond, and Australia. Those who want to experience animals up close can brush an Indian rhinoceros or feed a giraffe for an additional fee. For more information about the zoo and its animals, take a narrated tram ride or guided tour. For Zoo Miami and beyond, use our Miami road trip planning site to get the most from your Miami vacation.
Zoo Miami Reviews
Väldigt trevligt zoo med fina miljöer. Djuren såg ut att må bra och det fanns många djur att titta på. Vi var här som par och gick igenom allt på cirka tre timmar. Passar nog ännu bättre för barnfamil... more »Very nice zoo with nice surroundings. The animals seemed to feel good and there were many animals to look at. We were here as a couple and went through everything in about three hours. Is probably even better for children's family where you can safely spend a whole day here. There is the possibility to feed among other giraffes. Recommended if you like zoos, one of the better I visited.
The zoo is well maintained, beautiful n clean Nice playground, and splash area for the kids. Will need water shoes and swim suits for splash area. It’s a large zoo and with small kids I’d suggest the ... more »
Amazing. Truly, is amazing. The entire park is massive, and riding the bike cart makes the whole thing easier to traverse. I was fortunate to go with an amazing friend that invited me, and they really treated me nicely. The staff is really nice, and they have most animals you'd see at a zoo. Zebras, lions, tiger, elephants, giraffes which you can also feed, gorillas, everything! 100 percent recommend for an amazing experience
My family lives about an hour from Zoo Miami but it is totally worth the drive! We just got membership and plan on going quite often. We love the bicycles that they have because it’s nice to catch a little breeze on a hot day and they also have a canopy so there is shade also. It’s a great way to tote the whole family around to see all there is to see. We love going to feed the giraffes and rhinoceros, the water park is great and they have a bunch of snack stands throughout the zoo. They also have a stand that sells slushy wine which is a great place to stop 😜
