The Micanopy Historic District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on January 28, 1983) located in Micanopy, Florida. It encompasses approximately 470 acres (1.9 km2), bounded by roughly Cholokka Boulevard from US 441 to Ocala Street then Smith Street West to Okehumkee Street. It contains 35 historic buildings.

  • Cute little downtown with lots of historic markers in about 10 cute antique shops, a large café with a big porch. Pretty gardens a nice stop  more »
  • It was enjoyable to walk the downtown and peruse the shops. On the weekend we were there there was a Banjo band playing all the old songs my Dad had on the radio it brings back so many memories  more »
