    This I a nice lighthouse now a museum. Parking is easy and the admission is nominal. We had a limited time so we toured only the first floor, which was mostly lighthouse related and Lake Michigan.....  more »

    A must see spot! The history held within the walls of this building are incredibly intact.Best thing about the visit was the couple that work there. Rod and Jan were super sweet and very informative of the area and it's rich history. The view surrounding the historic lighthouse keeper building is equally beautiful!

    A good place to go for a historical review on the area. No real tour guide to show you around but everything is labeled. The spiral stair case up to the top is narrow (only about twenty four inches wide) and steep. Place is not recommended for kids under five. (My personal opinion). Once at the top there is a great view. Nice way to spend about 45 minutes of your spare time.
