  • The "Festival of Lights" is very impressive. The whole park is decked out in lights and beautiful to drive through it.  more »
  • Love the lighthouse. Great sunset watching. We were there in off-season, crowds very light! Neat walk to the lighthouse.  more »
  • Beautiful little zoo close to Washington Park Beach, Michigan City, Indiana. Situated in a hilly terrain, exploring the zoo is fun and entertaining. We spend close to 2 hours at the Zoo- and had a good time. Grizzlies were very active, Lemurs made a great couple, the bird feeding was interactive and very special, the peacock roaming freely in open showed the true spirit of how a Zoo should be. There is a high view point with a very beautiful view of Lake Michigan( Washington Park Beach). Entree fee is applicable for kids above 3 and adults. Parking is available in plenty. ( Common parking for both Beach and Zoo)
  • Very nice zoo, it's small but totally worth it. Animals are so lively and beautiful, its decorated very nice. Not expensive for what you get and even the concession stand prices were not bad at all. Definitely a must go
