Old mine entrance, ponds and wooded paths with turtles and deer. Nice park for families with music festivals during the summer.

Great park for a walk along the river. It can be nice and peaceful with some wildlife to view. Usually see some deer and have seen owls plenty of times. Trails are nice as long as it hasn't just rained or the James River is high due to rains.

It's a very beautiful place to take a stroll, explore, take your kid or dog on a walk, swimming, and even boating! It has loads of different trails and boat access points. It's really beautiful all year around. Oh! And people pick up after their pets so no worries about stepping in that yucky stuff😂!!
