Ice Castles, Midway

What a cool experience. Definitely best to dress like you're going to be tubing- waterproof pants and gloves are a safe bet. We went during the day, which makes it warmer, but no light effects. And we purchased the tickets for a short horse drawn sleigh ride. Jed was amazing.. warm, funny, friendly. Highly recommend as a nice family experience.

This is our second or third year going to see the Ice Castles. Each year seems to be a little bit different which was nice. Parking was up close and easy to get to the castles. Overall the experience is pretty cool and exciting to see what they’ve done. It is nice they only allow so many people in at a time frame. We went when it wasn’t sold out, but it felt busy. Spaces came be a little cramped in the actual caves. Having to wait for others to take their pictures sometimes backs it up. Lighting was pretty with the ice castles. The slides could of been a bit longer. More variety on food. And bathrooms are just honey buckets.
