  • It's only open a few days a week, so check before you go, but it's a neat little place. It's free admission and they run on donations. They have several old train cars you can look at and a few you...

  • This old depot has been transformed into a quaint museum with authentic railroad memorabilia, nostalgia photos and posters, interesting rail cars -- a Pullman, dining car, flat car and two cabooses...

  • This is really a first class museum. I wish we could have stayed longer. The baggage room and agent's office were the most interesting, but that's where we were able to spend the most time, so maybe if is been able to spend more time I'd prefer another room. There's lots of information about the beginning of the railroad in Florida, and how it progressed. Another room (one of the waiting rooms) is filled with stories of all the personalities involved in the railroad. So fascinating! There's also a caboose you can climb around on and a couple train cars used for special events. Very well done! And free!
  • Run almost exclusively by volunteers with a variety of things to see, from full-size rolling stock, to an interpretative museum with historical pieces, to a miniature outdoor garden railway. This is a great place to take small children, as someone of any age can find something enjoyable. Days/Hours are limited so be sure to check out the website for accurate information. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area.
