First off, you cannot drive your car through this state park. After visiting, we totally understand why. It's a gorgeous preservation area full of wildlife, peace and quiet. We RVd only 3 miles...

Super way to spend the day! Took the kids and the dog here at the State Park. Kids under 13 were free. Miles of beautiful hiking and biking trails. Can see housetop in Mexico from the Hawk...

Beautiful park! Ranger Roy gave us a personal private tour, and it was amazing. We saw probably 20 unique types of birds, and then plenty more on the hawk watch. Being new to Texas, we learned a whole lot about the trees, plants, insects, etc. The ladies in the gift shops were very fun, helpful, and entertaining. Thank you, Roy!
