  • Fabulous!!! Go do this one with your kids! You will love the history & they will love the set up, bones, and getting to see a live archaeological dig! They have plastic arrowheads that little kids can dig up & then turn in for real ones (not genuine artifacts, but hand made!) There was no wait to get in, and it was not crowded. $6/adult admission, 12 & under are free. Truly, one of my favorite things we did on our cross country tour!
  • Very informative and interesting place. A good way to burn 90 minutes (or more) if you watch the documentary. The whole family enjoyed learning to hunt with spears. The museum is full of fascinating artifacts and the second building is an actual dig site full of recent finds and information about a tribe of Native Americans that date back 1000 years ago. A fun budget friendly off the beaten path stop if you're looking to kill time or into history.
