Noteworthy Corona Arch, a natural sandstone formation, is the main attraction of the Corona Arch Trail. Along the 2.4 km (1.5 mi) trail, you'll pass Bowtie Arch and Goldbar Arch before reaching the culmination of the trail at Corona Arch. Here you can admire and photograph the towering red formation, formed by countless years of erosion, and a colorful canyon. Though much of the hike is fairly easy, you will have to ascend a ladder and use a safety cable in one area. Wear sun protection, as there is very little shade along the way, or consider an early morning or early evening hike to the arch. For me, 59 and carrying more weight than I should, found the hike to be challenging. My wife who is in better shape and other younger people we ran into on the trail seemed to be manage very well...

My kids would rate this hike a 5 but I’m rating it a 4 because the last leg made me a nervous wreck. I was really surprised how many families were hiking with kiddos in backpacks. It can be done...

Seriously a local green not too be missed. We visited in March 2022 and it's entire family had a blast. Fun hike with many attractions along the way. Our family of five, with the kids under 16 had a fun afternoon. What not to love??? There are cool ridges to clime, bridges to cross, walls and canyons to explore, and sunset you will never forget. Bring hat, sunglasses, and good sun screen and prepare to have fun. Scary enough to keep you in your toes and relaxing enough to keep on going. We visited during sunset and tell you, that was incredible!!!! Yes, go clime on the back of the Arch! There is an entire amphitheater behind it. So cool to check it out. Yes, it is safe for adults, I would leave pets and kids by the Arch. Overall super cool times.

Get a grip shoe if u want to hike here or in Utah iconic arch. Carry enough water if in summer. Amazing natural structure. Here they post the hike as moderate. I am from NJ and I was scared of climbing here. This is definitely difficult one. Until u reach that steep part is easy walk. Once u cross that steep then again it's easy walk. Comfy shoes are all that matters here.
