  • Beautiful. You feel like you are in a home, visiting and not a museum. Wonderful docent in Ruth, very informative. You can tell she loves the house and that encourages you to love it, too
  • This Plantation Home is an incredible display of Rich history and culture. Of course slaves operated this Plantation and that is a sad shameful part of American history. Nonetheless the home is incredible inside and out. It has been modernized a bit with air conditioning smoke sensors, cameras and various other detection devices and these are the reasons I don't give it five stars. I do realize how hard it is to maintain a property of that age without some modern technology intervention. The home is well kept and the grounds are well-kept and there are awesome photo opportunities.
