  • Drove through this county park just to check it out! Looks like a great place to hide away for the weekend. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all! Lots of campsites and...

  • A great place to go camping and play at the river. My family does our family reunion there every year it's a great place. The creek near the camp site's has a great dam that has a good current to intertube in. Clean bathrooms and showers are nice. Has water faucets to clean off your feet after getting out of the river. They have shelters to reserve as well. A good rock to jump off of in the river. Great place for kids and adults alike. The river has spots that are deep enough to jump off a rock and other spots that are about 5 feet or less. We built a current on the river by directing water with rocks so it's fun to body surf and intertube down. 10/10 would recommend.
  • We got in a bit of trouble for the kids using poppers, and the locked gate at 10 pm rule is a bit pedestrian, but it was beautiful and the creek is just to die for. I guess I'm just used to dispersed/backwoods camping in the national forests, so having lots of rules and other people around is something I'm not used to.
