  • We drove east from Montrose. Loved Hwy 50! We stopped at Monarch Pass for a bit. There's a HUGE parking lot. The gift shop was fun tourist junk, mixed with more expensive things. They have a...  more »
  • Beautiful spot on HWY 50 with a gift shop and Tramway. Homemade ice cream too. We saw many hikers coming through.  more »
  • Rode my bicycle over Monarch back in 2010. To this day it remains a highlight of the entire trip. Beautiful views and beautiful people :)
