  • An amazing experience with Kate and Don. We were able to see a number of different humpback whales , sea lions , a blue shark and other marine life . The raft is a site to see and she was all about our safety and the other 4 passengers aboard . I highly recommend if you are looking for a whale watching tour while in Monterey , Carmel or other areas give Captain Kate a call you will not be disappointed . Looking forward to coming back again when we visit Monterey again
  • FastRaft has all the good things going for it. Our group left from Moss Landing, which I find less crowded and more accessible from San Jose than Monterey proper. The boat itself is small - six passengers and two crew - giving you maximum visibility of the water and wildlife. Captain Kate and Don are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the whales and the local ecology. Call ahead for a reservation for a personal experience you won't get with larger outfits.
