Selfieville, Monterey

We had a great time here. The light show at the beginning was really neat and the theater itself is quite impressive. After the show you are taken upstairs to the black light rooms. They were pretty fun and lots of attention to detail has gone i to the painting of the rooms. After this we went one floor up and i to a fantasy world, underwater, castles and ponies, dream world with cloud couch and moon, a magical garden, super hero's and my favourite area the candy room where you can don cherry hats and be in a banana split! We laughed the whole time. The staff were great and offered to take photos for us. The picture i got are so fun and i love showing them off the everyone. If we are ever back in monteray we will definitely be coming back and i highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Its a very fun and unique experience.

I loved every aspect of my visit to Selfieville at the beautiful Golden State Theatre! I enjoyed the friendly welcome by the Selfieville staff who offered to take photos for me throughout my visit. The 3-D Light Show was absolutely spectacular and well worth the visit! Each unique and fun exhibit was more wonderful than the next. I especially liked experiencing all of the black light rooms, too! The fact that they're donating 25% of their net proceeds to foster care organizations is wonderful. Selfieville is simply a "must see" for anyone who lives here or visits Monterey - definitely a GREAT new attraction for all ages!
