  • It's a small jail with about 6 cells but it's worth a quick stop. Will probably take about 10 min. Cells are dark, but one is lit so you can see the inside and how they used to keep prisoners.  more »

  • Nice closed down jail type free museum. Has info on history of monterey. Behind it is city hall of monterey. Great place for photos and history knowledge
