Charles B.Stewart-West Branch Library, Montgomery

Tucked away just off of 105 right before Montgomery is a hidden gem of a library with gorgeous grounds and a small pioneer park with one of the 5 oldest cabins in Texas! If you're traveling through, it's worth a stop to stretch your legs on the grounds and take in the pond. The staff are incredibly friendly and answered all questions promptly. The library itself is slightly smaller than some other local branches but has a beautiful view of the pond and a surpringly robust selection. Worth the stop!

This library is the best! The staff are very helpful and kind. Anne in the children's section spent time helping my son find a book that interested him. She was patient and informative. I appreciate her efforts because my son found a book that he can't put down. Besides the staff, there is a wall of window that looks out on a pond with a fountain and a walking trail. It is such a nice library! I highly recommend!
