  • A must for “Great Gatsby” fans, or any fan of true love stories from bygone eras.Zelda Fitzgerald was local Montgomery girl who wanted to have her upcoming first, and only, child close to her family. She-and husband F. Scott Fitzgerald ,“Great Gatsby” author”-chose this home to wait for daughter, Scottie Fitzgerald. Love letters and personal items of the Fitzgeralds brought to life the volatile, roller coaster ride of their marriage. Memory of seeing large photo of the couple looking so dressed up,but so emotionally distant. Stepped on porch and imagined a very pregnant Zelda miserably trying to escape Alabama August heat by enjoying fresh air.Relived relationship of a a literary marriage thanks to enthusiastic guide, who pointed out couple’s personal letters and the chain of events inspiring them. Relived Flapper era!
  • A great museum in a charming neighborhood. There is an AirBnB on the top floor of the house I would love to stay in one day. The rooms are decorated beautifully and really transport you back in time.
