Monument Valley Tribal Tours, Monument Valley

We had an excellent sunrise tour with Marjorie as our guide. She was super nice, made sure we got to all the sites and stopped in all the best places for photos. She went above and beyond to take photos of each group in multiple places which was appreciated. She also gave information on the rocks and Navajo culture which was very interesting and informative. She also provided a few blankets for people who got cold on the tour which was very thoughtful. This tour really made our trip to monument valley so much better than touring without a guide. They take you into the backcountry over sand dunes that you cannot access without a tour. Some of the best places in the tour are not accessible by private vehicle so I’d definitely recommend taking a tour if you want to see the whole park.

On a chilly Saturday morning it was just Marjory and I on the sunrise tour of Monument Valley; the others were a no show. We met in the lobby of the View Hotel. Marjory did a wonderful job showing me all of the hidden gems in the area. She knew what pictures to take, where and all the angles. I had a huge smile on my face - ear to ear the entire time. She is a real treasure. I highly recommend this tour! *note if you plan to tip consider bringing cash bc I completely forgot!!
