Snipes Farm & Education Center reviews
We have been going to Snipes since we moved to the area 40 years ago. It was a farm, orchard and nursery, but now is a mixed use farm, that comprises an education center, summer day camp, egg farm... more »
I guess it's a sign of the times. This used to be a great place to take the family especially during the holidays but it seems to have lost its charm. Appears disorganized and scattered. Very ample parking but nothing really worth taking a ride to see. Time gone by I guess.
This is my first time here and I’m not getting a good impression so far. There is no clear direction on where things are what products are offered etc.I needed to drop my daughter off for a Girl Scout function. We were running a little late and the scouts were aware. When we got here there was no where to tell us where to go etc. A fellow patron sent me in the right direction and when I met up with one of the Girl Scout leaders, they gave me the hand, told my daughter where she needed to be, looked at me, and said “YOU can come back at 5”. Really? Now, I know this scout leader has nothing to do with Snipes so I’m sure I have another issue, however Snipes itself… I don’t know. I have no words. I walked right through an area that specifically said that you have to wear a wrist band past this point I went walking right through because I was wandering around looking for who we needed to meet. No one ever stopped me, asked to see the band, etc. If she wanted to buy something like a pumpkin or maybe get some food etc. I didn’t see any employees. I was certainly walking around clueless and no one offered to help except that random gentleman carrying a kid… I’m sure he didn’t work here. From what I see now looks unkept and shabby. I have heard great things about this place and right now I am just sitting in the parking lot dumbfounded. I am not a one and done person; I will always give someone the benefit of the doubt. Therefore if the situation presents itself again I will give Snipes another try. I won’t go out of my way though.
