This museum is not large and has an admission fee to match. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The exhibits were pretty much all oriented towards the local area's coastal life. more »
Great small Natural History Museum with wonderful views. The Museum is located at Morro Bay State park and is easy to access with good parking. There are many interactive displays and good hands on exhibits for children of all ages to explore. They were showing a video on the California Sea Otters which was very informative. The Museum staff is very helpful and friendly. Admission prices are modest.
It seems to be a small space but it's smartly organized and filled with so much interesting facts; utilizing many hands-on activities and colorful displays. The staff is friendly. Restrooms are clean. There's a small hike here too, with a wonderful view of Morro Bay.
