  • We pulled our camper in here and stayed for one night on a long trip from Tennessee back to Texas. This campground is so beautiful. We woke up to an amazing view in the woods and on the banks of the lake. It is quiet, peaceful, serene and just makes you enjoy camping. Sites are spacious. Clean bathhouse. Also, pleasantly surprised to discover a little playground right behind our campsite. The kids loved it in the morning as we were packing up. They had a huge water slide too. We didn’t get a chance to use it but it looked awesome. We could have stayed at this campground a couple of days if time would have allowed. Easily accessible off of I-20. Very friendly staff with southern hospitality.
  • Beautiful but close enough to I-20 that you can here traffic especially semis. The campgrounds are very well taken care of. Only spent 1 night heading back home to FL. There are full hook-ups, showers, bathrooms, laundry, tennis courts, hiking trails etc. and a giant spring fed lake with giant bass, bluegill and many other species. Will definitely stay longer this fall. The rangers and staff are exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful.
