  • Fun hike. Paved road, so it can get really hot mid- day. Inclines and curves. Great views and history. Entrance is not obvious, you'll need to cross the road from the parking lot and walk down the paved path until you get to the trail head. DO NOT TAKE THE LITTLE TRAIL BY THE BATHROOMS IN THE PARKING LOT. It's not it. Also you'll need $5 for paying the park fee when you get to the parking lot
  • 6.4 miles bike ride from Hood River to mosier on the old Columbia River Highway. grate ride or walk.
