Loew vinyards, Mount Airy

My husband and I came from Canada to visit our friends in Annapolis, MD. We found Lower winery by accident, we didn't know what to expect. What an amazing surprise it was! Our host Annie greeted us very warmly outside. She is a wonderful, very knowledgeable and passionate host. The wine (we had customize flight) are of excellent quality. We had a great time learning about the winemaker process and the history of the winery. Our favourite was wine Klara (created by granddaughter of WILLIAM LOEW, she is the youngest winemaker in MD). Annie gave us as a souvenir wine glasses with logo. Definitely we will be back.

Wonderful experience! We brought our small child and we were able to set up outside as a family with the beautiful vines nearby on a beautiful fall afternoon. Lovely solid tables and chairs were provided. They offered we could walk amongst the vines which were lovely to look at. We did the tastings and a cheese flight with crackers. Everyone who worked there was very friendly, very professional and very kind. We chose our favorite wine and purchased a. bottle. You could bring a large family or a couple of families or friends and setup all around one table or bring tables together. The views were gorgeous. What a great way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon! Highly recommended!
