  • A two mile hike through thick forests with a trail full of roots brings you to the water of Western Bay in Indian Point near Bar Harbor, Maine. It’s on the west side of Bar Harbor on Indian Point Rd.....  more »
  • Ignore any negative reviews. This is a beautiful slice of the maine woods and shoreline. A quiet place to meditate and take in the surroundings. It’s not zoo so don’t go expecting to see seals!!!!!  more »
  • The 1.5 mile hike through the woods was pleasant enough, but nothing special. However, the endpoint was a very pleasant rocky beach with almost no one around. Thought we may have seen a seal pop up its head near the rocks. Dipped our toes and enjoyed the very scenic views.
  • Nice hike in, not strenuous but often uneven. Saw several seals but binoculars helped; saw two deer, osprey, and heard an interesting bird we couldn't identify. Found crabs at the shoreline feeding on squid. Ocean breeze was perfect; definitely bring the bug spray for the woods.
