  We've been doing this loop around the end of August, with or without Sargent Mountain, for years. At almost 75, it tests the limit of my endurance, but it feels great when we get back to the car...  more »

  Hiked on our honeymoon in '11 and loved the open summit climb for the last bit. Would highly recommend for any visitor to mount desert island.
