Amazing place to visit. Good displays and information in a very nice visitors center. Explains the history of the bridge, construction, usage, and importance to industry and the area. I was lucky...

I have been here many times and still am in awe of the wreckage. I cover it in my blog post however I did not visit the museum when I first went to this!

Such a great find! This is enjoyable for nature lovers and those interested in history and engineering. The actual bridge is quite easy to get to via some stairs - no hiking necessary - but there are a couple of trails for those who are interested to get the view from below. Be warned, the trail down and back requires effort. There's a reason why they sell stickers that say, " I survived the height and hike!" But for those who are able, it's absolutely worth it. Inside the building is an informative and engaging 2 floor museum. There's a lot of clever interactive parts that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our group didn't have children, but I'm sure kids would like this too. There is also a playground and lots of picnic tables. Gift shop staff were super friendly, but they defintely need to restock shirt sizes. Lots of great stuff, and we'll definitely be back!

Always wanted to come here, and if you can time it right with peak fall foliage, it's truly spectacular! But in any season, I'm sure it's pretty cool to visit! Really cool how they turned a potential tourism disaster (destruction of the bridge) into an awesome destination. Very well done for a State Park. The visitor center is very well done, and the Skywalk was cool, of course. The trail down into the valley was cool, and you can walk among the fallen bridge sections, but it's very steep with large stone steps, so make sure you have boots or at least sneakers with very good tread - no sandals or such.
