  • Mt Shasta is an amazingly beautiful place. It dominates the landscape for miles. To be sure Shasta is not an easy mountain to climb, yet it attracts many, many people and many first timers to mountaineering. Likely because of its elevation and its popular nontechnical routes. It does get very crowded even during the week.
  • Perhaps because I live soo close to Half Dome & El cap they do not move me as much as My. Shasta. Speaks to my soul this one does 🥰
