  • True, seemed like couple handfuls of people dirty and likely homeless filling gallon water containers in the heat. a nice old park with buildings that look to have been built by the CCC/Arts...

  • Best place to visit. Sacred waters. Bring jugs, camera, and picnic. Kid friendly. Great tree canapy. Creek. Head waters of sacramento river. Must visit, sit, eat and meditate. Dog friendly. Bring lease.
  • 9-17-21 Our tour took us to Mt. Shasta City Park home of the headwaters of the Sacramento River amazing to see so much water in a never ending cascade of movement. I brought a jug so I could take some with me and boy is it 🥶 🧊 cold. We hiked the area and discovered a tree or should I say two different trees that have grown TOGETHER ❤. Check out the photos it's true. Nice hiking trails not sure about bathrooms. Blessings, John
