This place is great. Well lit after dark in the summer. Plenty of space to find your own spot or wander around.

The ruins first of all are amazing. The whole theme is an ode to the industrial revolution basically. So many cool structures left and preserved. then the park behind the ruins is amazing. so much to discover and explore. I had an amazing time and I can not wait to go back and discover a new area. Definitely recommend taking a visit

This park was absolutely amazing! I only had a couple of hours, but could easily spend a whole day here. I plan to return soon. The tower was really neat with extraordinary views, you could see so far! I saw tons of geese and goslings. Lots of neat sculptures made out of steel from the buildings there. Also some neat structures still standing. Loved the art installations made of blue glass. Lots of wildflowers and lovely trees, lots of ponds and lakes with fish. Many covered picnic areas that were very well-kept, from small ones with just one picnic table to much larger ones for a big event. There were a lot of informative signs talking about the history of the Park and what used to be there. The only downside was a lack of available restrooms. There was only one bathroom available in the whole park.
