Harmony Playground at Memorial Park, Mount Vernon

We have to stop here for the kids to play. They have different swings and play equipment to appease babies to teenagers. They also have handicap swings, so all kids get to play. Wanna play ball they have hoops and fields to play games. Skater? They have that too, a varied step skate ground. They even have bench swings for parents to enjoy while watching after kids playing. Need a picnic? They have you covered with picnic areas. Did I mention dinosaur play equipment and soft ground, so no mulch splinters. They have a great playground any city could model after. We always go when out to Mt Vernon. P.S. Also have bathrooms on site.

This park is genius not only does is link to an amazing trail where u can short walk to town and eat or drink but u can also take the trail out into the woods The playground was built in a way which in the summer a large tree shades the playing area. It is awesome
