  • The daffodils were pretty much over but the tulips were in full bloom. We didn't do a tour but drive the area to see the different tulip beds - the area was well sign posted.

  • I love going to take pictures with family. Makes great family portrait background. Check weather before coming since everything is outside and wear comfortable and waterproof shoes!

  • Beautiful . We had a good time and the fields are well maintained. Better to go in the week days.
  • If you're looking to wander around actual tulip fields, there's a lot of options, but Roozengaarde and Tulip Town are probably your best bets. If you just type in Skagit Valley Tulip Festival to Google Maps, it will take you to the middle of town, not a tulip field. Wear boots and bring an umbrella. Most of the fields don't really have paths, just muddy trenches. There's really nothing to do but wander around and look at flowers. It's paradise for some, incredibly boring for others. Try to go with fellow flower lovers. Here's what to expect, based on who's in your group: Adults without kids: Ooing, aahing, and taking pictures. Teens: taking selfies or staring at phones. Older kids: whining about being bored and wanting food. Little kids: falling face first into mud and trying to pick flowers. Adults with kids: pulling kids out of mud puddles, yelling at kids to watch where they're stepping, and throwing snacks at kids.
