  • Beautiful falls near Munising, MI. Easy hike to the first viewing platform and were still able to get some nice pictures of Miners Falls.

  • I have been here both in the fall and winter. Both times it was very beautiful! A very clean and easy-to-walk flat trail goes about a mile and then you are right there at the overlook! Stunning in fall, very dangerous making the walk from the overlook to the waterfall itself so be careful. The stairs were filled with pure ice and studded cleats did not quite do it. I recommend more advanced ice climbing gear if you want to venture up to the fall when it is frozen.
  • Little bit steep and some stairs to go down and back up but the trail is good and well maintained. The official overlook can get a bit crowded as it's not very large so you might need to wait your turn to get a good view of the falls. We didn't venture down the unofficial path to get right down.
