  • Initially, I was surprised at the high cost of the Spray Falls Sunset Cruise, but once we were out on the water, my concerns were totally washed away by the incredible views and the charismatic captain who narrated our ride. It was awesome to see the Rocks in the daylight on the way out and then watch them change as sunset went on. It was beautiful and worth every penny. I’d recommend sitting on the upper deck, front right side closest to the water for the best pictures (if you can stand the cold) (If we’d gotten there earlier, that’s where we would have sat). Otherwise, the bottom deck standing room area is warmer and also allows for great views.
  • We did the sunset cruise and it was awesome. It was great to see the changing light as the sun set. The captain and crew were friendly and helpful. Get there really early if you want a spot on the top deck. We were there about an hour before our cruise and BARELY got a seat up there. Everyone wants a seat on the rail and makes a mad rush for the upper seats, so make sure you have a plan and aren't left out in a game of musical chairs. If you do the sunset cruise, be sure you take jackets and a blanket for your lap. It gets pretty darn chilly. It's also a fairly long excursion if you have kids, so take a look at the time line and see if they will be ok with it. There were kids across from us and they played and talked the whole time and were not at all interested in looking at the scenery. Well worth the price and a "must-do" while in the area.
