  • A surprise find while out exploring Eastern Iowa on a weekend get-a-way. The Pine Grist Mill is in the middle of nowhere, but is worth the trip. Very scenic.

  • Been to the mill in October and February always beautiful. Easy access for all ages. But the location still holds challenges for the adventurous.

  • Wonderful historical Mill adjacent to Wildcat Den State Park. The area has plenty of parking and highlights the mill, an historical bridge, and a dam. Also, it allows easy access to a trail taking you to the Wildcat Den with a 1.5 mile walk through the forest. Nice camping area, and public restrooms. Highly recommend.
  • This is a must see! Go when the Grist Mill is open and in operation. Take the tour.
